RUN TO HOME BASE SHOWS THE POWER OF COMMUNITY SUPPORT

Supporting veterans doesn't end when their service does. For many veterans, transitioning back to civilian life comes with challenges that can impact mental health, employment, relationships, and overall well-being. That's why events like Run to Home Base continue to make such a meaningful impact. This year's Run to Home Base fundraiser brought together local businesses, community members, sponsors, and supporters with one shared goal: raising funds to help veterans successfully navigate life after military service. What began as a community-driven effort has continued to grow year after year, and this year's event marked its most successful fundraiser to date. The success of the event wasn't measured solely by dollars raised. It was reflected in the number of people who showed up to support the cause, the businesses that stepped forward to sponsor the event, and the collective commitment to giving back to those who have sacrificed so much for others.

Throughout the night, attendees enjoyed live entertainment from Run for the Covers, whose interactive, request-based performance helped create an atmosphere centered around connection, celebration, and community. Sponsors including LaPoint Insurance, Nature Frontier Landscaping, and RNC Plumbing played an important role in helping make the event possible while demonstrating the impact local businesses can have when they invest in causes that matter.

Events like Run to Home Base serve as a reminder that strong communities are built through more than business success. They are built through service, generosity, and a willingness to support one another when it matters most. As the fundraiser continues to grow each year, its mission remains the same: providing veterans with the resources and support they need as they transition into the next chapter of their lives. The continued success of the event is a testament to what can happen when a community rallies around a shared purpose and commits to making a lasting difference.
