Moo-ve Over... Farm Day Was a Huge Hit 🐄
Oakridge Dairy's annual Farm Day brought the community together for a day filled with learning, local food, and family fun. Visitors explored the farm, met the team behind the operation, and got a firsthand look at how milk goes from the farm to the table.
Guests enjoyed tractor displays, corn mazes, local vendors, and plenty of Moozy ice cream sandwiches while learning about modern dairy farming from partners like ST Genetics and Homestead. From DNA technology that helps farmers better understand their herds to discovering that a dairy cow drinks around 50 gallons of water each day, there was something new for everyone to learn.
More than anything, Farm Day showcased Oakridge Dairy's commitment to transparency and community. By opening its doors each year, the team gives families the opportunity to connect with local agriculture, ask questions, and better understand where their food comes from.
Events like Farm Day remind us that farming is about more than producing food—it's about building relationships, educating the next generation, and bringing communities together.
